I heard you that you were going to finally use your time machine to go and visit the medieval times of Europe and I wanted to give you some advice and suggestions.
The best thing to do is to go in the mind of a nobleman; you should get a job in government and buy a chunk of land. Get married to a knight's daughter and show the noblemen new and more efficient ways of building. Explain to them that bathing and taking care of their personal hygiene can keep you living longer.
